Hey there! I’m Dani!
I’m a lifestyle blogger, first time mama to Liam, and married to my high school sweetheart, John.
I’m mostly from Austin, Texas. I’ve also lived in Colorado and New York., but Austin is where I’ve been the longest and it’s the most special to me! It’s where I met my husband when we were just 17, where we got married 8 years later in 2019, where I became pregnant and had our baby boy, and where we recently built our dream home!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved styling outfits and making spaces beautiful. Prior to being a lifestyle blogger, I was an elementary school teacher for 3 years! I’ve always loved being creative, organized, building relationships, and helping others be their very best! That’s what I hope this blog is for you. I hope it encourages you to dress your best, shop great sales, organize your home, cook a healthy meal, find motivation to move your body, and laugh with me as I try to navigate being a mid 20s mama.
In my early 20s, I embarked on a fitness journey that led me to being a fitness instructor for Orangetheory and later, F45 Training. I fell in love with running and ran a half marathon. I hiked 14ers in Colorado and worked out 5-6 times a week. My life was completely immersed in fitness. Since I’m starting this blog just 5 months after having my baby, y’all will get to join me on part two of my fitness journey! I can’t wait to share recipes, workouts, and maybe training tips for running another half marathon in the near future!
Some fun facts about me and my family: We have two rescue chihuahua terriers named Desi and Dobby. I love Tex-Mex food with a passion! I’ve been gluten free for 3 years so Tex-Mex usually has a lot of options for me. I’m open water scuba diving certified. When I’m not busy being a mom and wife, I love reading or trying new workout classes: lagree pilates is my current obsession.
